For many years, Beth wrote scripts for animated TV series. She was part of the Emmy-Award winning team of writers on Steven Spielberg’s Tiny Tunes Adventures. Other series include Batman, He Man and the Masters of the Universe, GI Joe, Transformers, My Little Pony, Jem and the Holograms, Doug, Street Frogs, Tigersharks, Silverhawks, Thundercats, Scooby-Doo, and Fat Albert. Beth co-wrote and co-directed, with Iva Peele, the independent film, The Road To Q’ero: A Journey Home, which was shown as part of the 2013 Waimea Ocean Film Festival. This film won an honorable mention in the 2013 International Film Festival for Environment, Health and Culture. Her dance-theater piece, Que Suenes Con Las Angelitas, created in collaboration with dancer / choreographer Angel Prince, debuted at the Kahilu Theatre in 2010 and completed a Hawaii Island Tour in October, 2014. She has essays in a number of anthologies ? most recently Amy Ferris’s Shades of Blue, an anthology published by Seal Press (October 2015 release date). Beth also writes poetry, and is currently collaborating on a TV series with writing partner Iva Peele.
Editing: She regularly edits books for other writers ? a few of the published books include: A Family Of Choice: A Gay Man?s Story of International Adoption by Paul Hampsch; Vincent Murphy’s Page to Stage; The Craft of Adaptation, and How To Move To Kona by Julie Ziemelis.
